The NEW Jupiter JCL-700S-Q student Bb clarinet is a remodel of the popular and now obsolete JCL-637. This instrument is a very popular student clarinet which is well crafted, easy and free blowing to play and along with the Yamaha YCL255 and the Buffet B12 is a highly recommended student model.
The instrument is produced using ABS composite plastic, a material which is designed to give some of the sound characteristics of a solid wooden instrument - this enables the improving student to work on overall tone quality and control as well as benefiting from an instrument which is easy to clean and maintain. The instrument is complete with an adjustable thumb rest, which enables even the smallest hand to find a comfortable playing position, and a ring for a neck strap which helps support the weight - all features which help the young player enormously. The clarinet also has an off set trill key and raised C/G tone holes which make the instrument easier to use.
The key-work is made using power-forged nickel which is then silver plated. Whilst looking fantastic this also ensures that the regulation is consistent and the overall quality is very long lasting.
The instrument come complete with a high quality 'FQ' case which has back pack straps and a shoulder strap as well as reflective piping.
